Old Brewery - Tomahawk August 2013

One of the biggest steaks in Aust weighing > 2 kilogrammes http://www.theoldbrewery.com.au/our-story/the-tomahawk-2/ is a must for the meat lover.

Especially satisfying is the large rib that comes with the steak.

Whats left after a multiple gnashings of teeth. If you Attend with more then 10 guest then you must go for the Tomahawk Banquet with a minimal cost of AUD$110 per person. When you book a 40% down payment of the total cost for your guest needs to be paid.

In Option 1 of the Tomahawk banquet the first serve is a trio of hors d'ouvres.

These include prawns and salmon. Then a variety of parmigiana ham and deep fried soft shelled crab. The steaks were served with thick cut ships, salad, cauliflower with broccoli and potatoes with cheese. There was also mushroom sauce, mustard sauce  Bearnaise sauce or pepper sauce to add to the steaks. Unfortunately the potato and cheese bake was half cooked. This made is very chewy.

One way of getting some calories burned was to park in King's Park or in Perth city. Then taking the slow walk to the brewery and back. The cholesterol burner before and after the dinner.
About 2 hours walk to burn of the 2500 kilojoules.
