RockSalt is located at Shop 12, The Aria Building, Albert Ave, Broadbeach, QLD We had the 3 course dinner special for $65 per person - entree, main and desert. Entree was slow cooked beef cheeks, followed by Salmon as a main and lemon tart for desert.

My friend had the pork belly. This looked really yummy. Developing and maintaining social networks appear tp help us grow old gracefully. Catchig up with someone I had known since I was about 6 years old seemed to fit this healthy strategy. We had not seen each other for maybe 30 years.
The salmon had a sharp vinegary dressing. My friend had the duck. This was off the $65 per person menu with a surcharge.
This $10 surcharge also applies to the other mains that are asterisked.

The lemon tart pastry was crunchy. We had a Pinot to go with the meal. The service was efficient and friendly. After dinner we walked back to my hotel the Sofitel Gold Coast on 81 Surf Parade, Broadbeach. This was close to Jupiters and the monorail. The hotel has a small gym. Best to go for a run along the beach or pound the pavement.
The weather is heavenly in the Gold Coast in these early September days of Spring 2013.
Modified yoga for 30 mins before dinner at the RockSalt should do the trick. The servings are petite so there should not be too many calories to burn. Great restaurant to catch up with old friends over a bottle pinot and food.
