Subiaco Hotel Restaurant

We were looking for a place to eat in Subiaco during lunch week before Christmas 2017.  Two young dudes & their grandparents.  All looking for fast food but hangry becuz their choices limited in today's Subiaco.  We had steak, champagne batter fish n chips, linguini with crab, pork sausages and barramundi.  The crustacean pasta was really delish.  Service was fast and all on table were happy with subi hotel cuisine.  The lunch bill was $160 so the two young dudes were ruling out visiting with their university class mates. Otherwise good for gentrified patrons.

Fredericks Cafe Albany

Just been to ANZAC center Mt Clarence & followed Capt Shout who was awarded a VC in WW1. Had lunch in this main street cafe. Steak sandwiches, cuban panini, beef burgers and chocolate milk shakes. We sat on the main st under their pergola. The steak was tender and bread fresh. The maverick burger curry spicy. The panini was cubanlicious woth chicken and cheese. The beef burger was good value at $10.5. The crunchy chips were delicious despite the calorie counters on the table. Was $85 for 5 of us but we only ordered 4 meals.as the chips were fulfilled all the gaps in our Anzac emptied stomachs.

Atrium Crown Perth

2 weeks before christmas on Sun 11 Dec we organised the Xmas SP colleagues lunch. We booked for 25 people only 23 were able to attend.

The table was beautifully laid out and ready to go. Adults were served champagne. A couple ordered apple cider. As the co host we were early to welcome the guest. The buffet looked so inviting I had to start before all the guests arrived. Snacked on steamed buns and fruit eg bananas to stop the tummy rumbles. Having gone for swim and cycle before to prepare for the large lunch to be consumed. This also helped to clear my jet lagged brain. Having flown back at 1230 am Sunday morning - morning of the lunch. Attended HH's work christmas party in Conduit road in Midlevels on Friday night.

As guest arrived we had to walk up to reception to bring them to the table as there was a long queue of other people waiting to come in via the entrance. Once every one arrived we attacked the buffet with gusto. Some went for the curries and roasts. I started with the salads and salmon. Also had sushi but missed the sashimi salmon from previous years. There was BBQ pork and noodles for Asian food aficianados. The desserts were tempting and we had the cakes and petit fors. We had coffee and tea afterwards. Kids had carafes of coca cola or lemon squash. My boss then gave away hampers to all the adults. Each hamper was $100 and everyone was really happy and full afterwards. It was a great Xmas atmosphere and many other patrons were dressed in a christmassy way for the occasion. My boss paid for the whole function which came in just under $1k. We got a lot of thank you emails especially from the ladies who received the hampers.
