Regal 16 Chinese in Richmond Hill Ontario

Canadian Chinese food near Toronto

Nothing like stir fried food from a hot wok on a cold winter evening in Ontario, Canada. Prior to dinner  take a 1.5 hour ( or 3 hour return)  drive from Toronto to Niagara Falls for a brisk walk around the falls. With fabulous views from the Canadian side of the falls. The wind chill factor around the falls makes it an especially refreshing activity. Rug up well.

The cold, the wind, the icy spray and car drive all makes up for a mighty hunger that is warranted on arriving at this big feed fine food Canadian Chinese restaurant.

Don't start with this Papaya (paw paw deserts) in the restaurant but save some space for this exquisite desert. Steamed papaya with the seeds removed and filled with an egg and milk blend. Vitamins +++.

For the good duck fat try the Roast Duck. A Cantonese style wet duck

For more protein try the Lobster. This is a universal Chinese seafood dish with variations from western country to country where there are Chinese restaurants serving this dish. Stir fried noodles garnished with shallots, garlic and ginger are the foundations of the dish sitting below the quick fried lobster. Kilo calories by the spoonful. make sure you ran around Niagara falls for about 45 minutes before having a generous helping.

Mushrooms for the vegetarians amongst the crowd. Especially if you did not get out of the car at Niagara Falls and enjoyed a modified yoga session in the 3 hour return journey between Toronto and Niagara Falls. Enjoy the buttery mushrooms with smooth sautéed onions.

For those who did not run around Niagara Falls steamed fish served whole. Then deboned by the serving staff. De boned Fish maybe a little lighter in the calories and walking around Niagara Falls would suffice.

A must for those who ran more than two laps between the USA and Canadian falls in Niagara. The pork is coated in batter, deep fried then served in a sauce. The sweet and sour pork will quench any caloric craving for the ultra long distance athlete. Garnished with plenty of capsicum, tomatoes and pineapple to give the fibber and crunch.

Don't forget to get the papaya desert.  After that back into the cold and snow.
