Cottesloe beach strip. Long lunch. Fried Squid.
See their website. http://www.blue-waters.com.au/ A varied diet is better than vitamin supplements for the heart. See below. So we ordered a whole variety of dishes to try.
Beef Ribs - tinge of sweetness
Duck roasted
See article on vitamins and your heart at http://www.health.harvard.edu/healthbeat/vitamins-and-your-heart Eat foods all colours and a wide variety rather then rely on vitamin supplements.
Barramundi pan fried
Prawn Linguine
Steak Sandwich
Chicken Burger
All dishes were half price courtesy of an urbanspoon special for that day.
The article health.harvard.edu/healthbeat/vitamins-and-your-heart indicates that Vitamin C, Folic acid, B6 and B12 don't prevent heart disease. The American heart association reckons that vitamins even the antooxidants (Vitamin A, C, E) don't give any more benefits compared to a balanced, nutitrious, wide ranging variety diet

Exceptions are the omega fatty acids from oily fish twice a week but that story is for another time.

Matilda Bay Restaurant Perth
Wagyu sirloin char grilled outside, tender inside was superlicious for $52 at 250gms.
The discovery of the evening was the roast beef rump wagyu for two at $70. What a gem. Succulent beef moist and juicy. Bearnaise soft was left aside as the beef was great with its own flavours. See their website http://www.matildabayrestaurant.com.au/
The crab linguine had a crunchy topping and was ordered as entree for $26. Great for noodle lovers.
The kids menu came with ice cream and lamb.
The king fish sashimi was paper thin with a tangy dressing. Between $20 to $26
The pork belly was tender but the skin was not crunchy nor a crackling. $22

The duck was flavoursome with meat that melted of the bone. $42. The bed of shitake mushrooms & Small onions had a salty brown sauce.
Great views of the Swan river and yacht club. Nice birthday dinner in August. Staff were friendly and polite. We did not drink alcohol or have any bread as training for the Perth City to Surf.

Workout hard to crush your hunger? Men's Health magazine had an article that indicated if you trained hard in a 1:4 ratio than you were less likely to be hungry. That is sprint for 15 seconds then jog for 60 seconds. Or cycle hard for 15 seconds then pedal for 60 seconds. See http://www.menshealth.com/weight-loss/workout-crushes-your-cravings Do this for at least 6 cycles or a minimum of 30 mins. Maybe sprint for 1 minute then jog for 4 minutes seems like a good combination along the Swan river before going for dinner at Matilda Bay. That way maybe you just share the deserts.
See the orginal research quoted from Dr Aaron Sim on Pub Med at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=High-intensity+intermittent+exercise+attenuates+ad-libitum+energy+intake. The study concluded high intensity exercise was effective in sedentary overweight men. So there is more benefit if you belong to this group. More training tips quoted from RunnersConnect.Net and John Davis.
