The article health.harvard.edu/healthbeat/vitamins-and-your-heart indicates that Vitamin C, Folic acid, B6 and B12 don't prevent heart disease. The American heart association reckons that vitamins even the antooxidants (Vitamin A, C, E) don't give any more benefits compared to a balanced, nutitrious, wide ranging variety diet

Exceptions are the omega fatty acids from oily fish twice a week but that story is for another time.
