Saturday at 6pm a beautiful crisp spring evening - slight breeze with coolness.
Lots of cool dames & funky dudes having a drink by the bar.
Waitress was tall and slender blond with nice Aussie twang and was attentive. Gave the host great service.
The short ribs were massive and tasty. Sweetish with a hint of apple.
Steak rib eye was tender and went well with the Henschke 2009.
Chateaubrian was roast beef with 3 accompaniments - Bearnaise sauce, ham & mushroom sauce, sweet salad. Also went well with the red wine.
The tower of polenta chips - gastronomic Jenga game. Moist with slight crunchiness on outside.
We had to skip desert as it was a very filling meal. After the drive home we managed to make room for more food.
A homemade apple cake with mango and peach ice cream from Peters - light and creamy. Try it - delicious/

Peters Ice cream - better then vanilla normal ice cream which is one of my favourites.
We then listened to "OneDirection" music and Gangnam from youtube.
